She Sends Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to connect, support and inspire women and girls through mountain biking.
The She Sends Foundation believes…
IF SHE CAN SEE IT,
SHE CAN BE IT
Women and girls* are vastly underrepresented at all levels in the sport of mountain biking. The She Sends Foundation believes that together, we can change that!
*The She Sends Foundation is inclusive of ALL people with a special focus on empowering those who identify as female or non-binary.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Community
When we asked women and girls who made them feel confident, empowered and inspired to start riding, many said. . .
Other women and girls!
Community is at the heart of making cycling a more inclusive, empowering sport.
Connection
When we connect women in the cycling community, powerful things happen.
We hope that by building a brand to rally around and an online community to belong to - we will form a more nationally connected group working to encourage more women and girls to just send it on the bike!
Action
Together, we can accomplish more than any one of us could imagine on our own.
By aggregating smaller donations into bigger grants - we can use our collective economic power to move the needle for organizations that get more girls on bikes.

From Kate
“Mountain biking opened up the world for me. It provided me with the opportunity to explore freely, face and overcome challenges, develop a stronger sense of self and connect with a passionate community of cyclists around the world. As I have matured in the sport, I have also had incredibly formative experiences training and racing alongside female friends and mentors that inspire me to dream big, aim high and just send it.
While the sport has grown tremendously in recent years, women and girls remain dramatically under-represented, in part because of limited opportunities and representation. I started the She Sends Foundation to change that.
The experiences women and girls have on two wheels are nothing short of transformative - whether they simply inspire a love of nature, create a new connection with one’s body or give rise to the self confidence to go big in life. Together, I hope we at the She Sends Foundation can create more access, opportunity, inspiration and community that will have a positive impact far beyond the world of cycling.”
